Installing aftermarket radio in an 02 Grand Am with Monsoon?

So I have an aftermarket radio that I am trying to install. I'm not having any issues with the door chime like most people. I researched that before hand and bought an adapter for it. The issue is with the factory monsoon amp. We have all the wires to the speakers attached properly. The stereo turns on and has no issue finding a station, however no sound is coming from the speakers. My first thought was that we had the speakers wired wrong. We double checked and the wiring is correct. Could the stock monsoon amp be causing the issue here?

Im stuck with this 2 channel pyle but my car is a 4 channel. now i have checked and rechecked to make sure that this will work with my car and it does. i got the wire harness so that i can keep my original wiring and just undo that when i want to upgrade my stereo. My question is how do i wire the left and right speaker when it only has 1 wire per speaker. a green wire for my left and a grey wire for my right. now my wire harness has a LF positve and LF negative. RF positive and RF negative, and so on and so forth for my rear speakers. do i hook the green to both the positive and negative of both front speakers? any help would be greatly appreciated

Then she wanted to leap a few bounds and take the case to Washington which added additional fees. One day she finally decided to give up and withdraw from the case. Stated that it was cause I didn't show up to a meeting with her, but truth be known, that was a real busy week for me at work and I had told her so many times. I don't think that I needed her as a lawyer since I look better defending myself (as opposed to having her) Thing is she made me go thru turmoil, made me have a very unpleasant Christmas and New Years, didn't do anything and ran off with 5000. People Who live in or close to Philadelphia?

I live here and the parking is bad. Most of the city is really small and congested with really small streets which makes it difficult for cars to drive through and the fact that most people park outside of their houses on the streets doesn't help. Should I call 911 after being shocked by the red wire suction on tv tube?

So I happen to use my tv as my speakers for my computer. Today I happened to say forget this big bulky tv i just need the board and the speakers with power supply. So I opened the casing too out the circuit board and disconnected all the wired from the tube except there was one red wire left with a suction cup to the tube. There are also a lot of higher level shopping areas as well. Be sure to check out Waikiki Beach and Hanauma Bay. Both are right there in Honolulu but if you have the chance, try to check out the Polynesian Cultural Center and Waimea Bay on the north shore. As far as tanning goes, there's plenty of sun in Hawaii so it shouldn't be too difficult to catch some rays. Have fun!

I have always used the headphones on my laptop that came with my Ipod Touch and they have always worked with my computer. craigslist is a great way to find a beach house at a great price. We found a really nice house for way cheaper than a hotel. The other one that always works is vrbo.com there is always a great deal on there. I would start there. As far as things to do, I would make sure you check out this service called hawaii beach time. www.hawaiibeachtime.com while youre on oahu, they deliver beach gear to you anywhere on oahu. We just got back from our trip there and while we were there we used their service multiple times. They will bring chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, kayaks, coolers, etc right to you. When youre done at the beach they pick it up and swipe your credit card and youre good to go. I highly recommend going to lanikai, that beach is amazing.

So I have an aftermarket radio that I am trying to install. I'm not having any issues with the door chime like most people. I researched that before hand and bought an adapter for it. The issue is with the factory monsoon amp. We have all the wires to the speakers attached properly. The stereo turns on and has no issue finding a station, however no sound is coming from the speakers. My first thought was that we had the speakers wired wrong. Macbook Pro and Iphone Dilema?

Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. I have had no prior updating experience whatsoever, I clicked update, and it told me I need to back up my information, so I went to the sync button on transferred all of my content onto my computer, then additionally it told me again that I needed to transfer the content over again which I did, then to be sure I clicked the sync button again and nothing happened, just to make sure all of my content, phone number, music, apps, all transferred over to the computer. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I would love some information on some fellow owners of people who may know about this or whom have experienced this.

Starting a small business -- expenses question?

Learn. I have owned my own business for nearly 20 years and I had to learn Quick Books and basic business boookeeping. In the beginning, I could not afford an accountant (except for a little initial consult and to help me file quartlerlies and end of year taxes). I took some evening classes on Quick Books and found it really helped with the business of being in business. It takes both to suceed, you know. Whatever it is you do like cake baking, toaster repair, or lawn care- that is your business. You need to be good at that obviously, but then there is the business of being in business- billing, client relations, bookkeeping, business decisions on how much to spend on supplies and where to buy them, how much advertising and where, how much inventory to keep,etc. Many business have gone down the drain becasue the owner knew their business but did not know enough about being in business. You can't tell if you are making a profit until you clearly understand your expenses. I run Quick Books reports all the time to see which of my clients provided the most jobs this month, what items are selling the best, how much gross income I made in the last month, how much my expenses are averaging per week. I make a lot of business decisions based on what I learn from these reports. Even today, I do not have a full time accountant. And while I don't mind tax help, I need to know what is going on to make future decisions about my business and I do some data entry in Quick Books at least once a week (sometimes two or three times)to keep up.

Should we adopt my wifes sisters baby?

It didn't work when i got it and i don' have the stereo it was part of. However, I got a power input and the table turns just fine. But when the needle touches the record, I can only hear sound coming from the stylus and there is no sound from the speakers (Wires with white/red composite cables) of my radio. Is it a simple fix or is worth my while just throwing it away

A child support question?

hi, i live in west virginia. my girlfriend and i have a 1 year old son together. through the last year we have been locked in mortgage limbo on our house, therefore our addresses were listed as different. we were summoned to a child support hearing in which we were told that child support would only be taken out for 2 or 3 payments(i cant recall which it was) as backpay.and when we got our addresses straightened out to come back and let them know, at which time they would cease taking payments out of my paychecks. that was in oct 2010. about this time we moved into our new house but were still stuck in mortgage limbo, meaning i couldnt change my employment status or risk messing up the loan. here is where the fun really begins. No payments were taken out of my paychecks until dec 10, 2010. the first payment of $148 was taken out dec 10, another of the same amount was taken out on dec. 24, 2010(i get paid every 2 weeks). neither payment was sent to the child support agency until dec. 28, 2010. My girlfriend and i thought, "hey its a one time thing, no big deal, at least thats all that they will take and now its done"...we were wrong. the next paycheck had the same amount taken out and once again was not sent to the child support agency, i then started recieving letters in the mail from the child support agency stating that i was delinquent on my payments. my girlfriend and i then went to the agency this same thing occured on every paycheck for the next 2 months. payments taken out of my checks by my employer, yet not sent to the agency. after repeatedly trying to phone the agency, we finally went down to the office. while there, we were informed that it wasnt just my checks, but my employer was not sending any other employee's child support payments in either. he was apparently up to thousands of dollars behind. they had already notified him by letter. also, while at this meeting they informed us that if we wanted to end our child support case when we got the money from my employer that we could. they told us they were leaving the case open until he sent the money in, that way their lawyers could handle it and we wouldnt have to seek outside consultation. that was in february 2011. he has never gotten it caught all the way up, so we have never been able to get the case closed. now he is over $700 behind again. i ask the managers where i work about it and they tell me i have to talk to the accountants, when the child support office calls the accountant they tell them that the owner does the child support, then when they call him he becomes aggresive and profane and hangs up. these payments were supposed to stop being taken out in february and its still happening. it wouldnt be as bad if the money were being sent in, because then my girlfriend could get it and we could pay our bills with it. but that's not happening and we are falling behind on our bills and everything else and all the child support tells us is they turned it over to their attorneys and if we havent got the money in 3 weeks to come and talk to them again. i don't understand what they expect us to do. we can't tell the utility companies to wait a couple weeks can we? the main problem,as i already stated, is that these payments arent even supposed to be being taken out of my checks. what can i do about this? the child support bureau is clearly not that concerned about it and we are running out of options on our money. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it should. More ram and a video card would help alot though. 512 Ram is barely enough to run XP let alone game. But it will play, just constantly page to the HD.

Having worked in the industry, I would have to say that this is either deliberate on some levels or simple inefficiency. They might be controlling access of information for proprietary reasons, and you may have to ask directly to obtain what it is you need. Another level is that the systems you were provided with are outdated and beyond the budget of the company to upgrade or expand. I am not sure why the accounting department is being restricted except to provide internal protection. It would be disappointing if your organization has no clue that there is an inherent problem. Sub cutting speakers out after certain volume?

I have a smarties sub and amp (i think its 500 or 1300 watt) and after a certain volume around 15 or 16, the whole sound system stops working until i turn the cd player off and on again and i have to turn it down. I'm not sure about the specs but i have it all wired up properly and the fuses are in working order, i don't understand why it cuts out. It's wired from the battery, i have a ground cable attached to the boot catch, wires connecting the amp/sub and wire from the speaker input to the amp. If anyone could help.sort it i'd be very grateful, thanks!

My MacBook Pro decided for itself! What?

Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. I have had no prior updating experience whatsoever, I clicked update, and it told me I need to back up my information, so I went to the sync button on transferred all of my content onto my computer, then additionally it told me again that I needed to transfer the content over again which I did, then to be sure I clicked the sync button again and nothing happened, just to make sure all of my content, phone number, music, apps, all transferred over to the computer. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I would love some information on some fellow owners of people who may know about this or whom have experienced this.

My laptop speakers don't recognize that my headphones are out?

A while ago, I had my headphones plugged into my laptop. I shut it off a few times and everything, with them still in. Eventually, I took them out, but my laptop didn't recognize that they weren't still in, so now the volume for my computer seems to be permanently on headphone volume. (even though they're not in). I've tried restarting my computer, adjusting the audio, everything I could think of. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated! :)

Should We Start A Family? ?

There's a difference between being great with kids and being able to support your own child. Your girlfriend is in college and I don't know how your salary is but you should wait until she gets a steady job from her degree and that you make enough money to support a family. Waiting 3, 4, maybe 5 years won't kill you. Actually that'd still be young. Getting married sometime in the future before having a child would be better for the child. Don't rush marriage or having a child. Children cost A LOT of money.
