Did Install my Sound Blaster Sound card wrong?

I installed it and it's working, I can hear on my computer but when I webcam with someone my mic doesn't work... I bought this sound card because my speakers broke but my mic worked now when I plug it out whoever i'm webcamming with can hear me but I can't hear them, and when I plug it back in I can hear them and they can't hear me..... Is there any way to fix this problem?
