Me and my friend are planning a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii? (2 person trip) How much will the cost be?

We want to stay in a hotel and 1/4 the time. We want to either stay for 10 days and see tons of sites, or we want to stay for 14 days and see less sights. What's the cost for both? And please be descriptive. Easy ten points.
