Anyone who's ever lived in Hawaii?

Living in Oahu sucks. It is expensive, crowded, the rain season sucks etc. Plus there is a huge bug problem and the cockroaches are huge and every house has them. For one semester you may be ok because you should still have the touristy appeal, but I personally hated it after 6 month.
