How hard is it to find a nice 1bd apartment in a nice area of honolulu?

I am looking for a nice 1 bedroom, unfurnished in Metro Honolulu. I am single and need to know how much it would take per month to live in Hawaii. I have no car payment, credit cards paid for the only bill I have is 340....I am on a fixed income as well. I have about 3-4000 per month is this enough?
