Recording skype calls?

I tried to use audacity,using stereo mix as the input, and i unchecked "auto adjust mic and speaker settings" in skype, but when i start recording with audacity then make my call, skype says "problem with recording device". If i make my call and then start audacity, audacity says that. Ive seen articles on how to do it and they say this should work, so...Help?
