The part time employee is eligible for the graruity?

I have worked without break as an part time accountant from 1997 to Dec 2002 and from the January same year i.e.2002 I start to work full time basis as an accountant till compay colsed (13/06/2011). My question is I am eligible for the gratuity for the part time period ? awaiting the the reply ASAP
