My tax company didn't give me a delinquent tax notice they received until after it was due.?

My accountant did my taxes wrong for state taxes. They sent a delinquent notice to my company tax consultant (let's say GMPK ;) They didn't send me the notice for several weeks, and only after the deadline did I get the notice. Are companies like "GMPK" required to get me that information in a timely matter by law?
