Is it possible to go to high school in Hawaii for a semester?

I live in Virginia, but I have family in Honolulu, Hawaii. I absolutely love it there and I was wondering if it is possible for me to live with my family for a semester and go to school and come back to my high school now and finish the semester. I would like to go during the first semester of school because second semester I play lacrosse at my current high school. Would I be aloud to do that?
