Clutch change for prelude sh?

so i recently brought a prelude sh clutch was worn but it could of last atleast couple more months jsut yesterday the clutch died out on me and now i took it to my friend shop he said it would be around 1000-1500 to change it. I live in honolulu and if anyone else knows if i can get it cheaper ? and is it worth to put the money in it? please and ty
